There is hardly a student who doesn’t hate college paper writing. Writing papers on interesting college essay topics may be fun and useful, but the truth is that students consider most topics as too boring to even think about. When
students decide to work on their own essays, they usually devote less
than an hour to the assignment and write random sentences that are
not even associated to the material. We have to understand a

but the truth is that professors have tried every tactic to make

Nothing makes them interested and the only solution that would make

papers in required courses.
Students

to. Everyone who wants to become a writer or develop crucial skills
of discussion will take those courses, and all other students will be

The
required humanities courses should go back to the old-school grading
style based on oral and written exams. Students won’t be able to
buy their answers and the grades will be fair for everyone.
Paper-writing is easy to fake and the process of grading is
subjective, which makes humanities courses unfairly imprecise.
With
more exams and substantially fewer papers to write, students will
hopefully stop complaining that they don’t have time for anything,
and professors will stop being frustrated by grading them.
